The International Festival „Hajnówka's Orthodox Church Music Days”

The International Festival ?Hajnówka’s Orthodox Church Music Days” is a great cultural event organized annually in the month of May in the marvelous scenery of the Holy Trinity Church in Hajnówka. It lasts almost a whole week. The Festival begins with the Inauguration Concert, in which participate the winners of the last year festival edition, and ends with two Gala concerts: in Hajnówka and in Bialystok. Every year the festival hosts more than a thousand singers from various countries representing Christian music of different tradition such as eastern Greek and Slavonic, western, Syrian and others. Among the invited guests are: His Beatitude SAWA the Orthodox Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland, representatives of President of Poland, Prime Minister, Ambassadors of many countries, representatives of self-government, authorities of other churches and many domestic and foreign celebrities.(source: www.festiwal.cerkiew.pl)
